A heartfelt hello and a warm welcome to the ever-vibrant flower shop Emporia, a unique sanctuary of beautiful and diverse flowers and plants. Explore our forever fascinating selection of both small and large plants, as well as an incredibly rich array of decorative pots for homes, offices, and gardens.
Our journey began far back in the year 2000 at Bežigrajski Dvor complex in Ljubljana. It was there and then that we, Tomaž Smrtnik and Jure Zalokar, established a fresh, ambitious, and completely reimagined vision for Slovenian floristry. The local and broader Slovenian public quickly recognized Emporia as an inventive and creative florist boutique capable of tackling many, even unconventional, floral challenges. Our dedicated team of experts has since then organized countless captivating weddings, annual displays of Advent and Christmas decor, decorations for numerous business events, implemented numerous interior and exterior landscaping projects, and carried out several elaborate floral arrangements for major state celebrations.
In the autumn of 2013, we relocated our florist boutique to a new larger location— situated at the very heart of Ljubljana, at Kongresni trg, it offers a magnificent view of Ljubljana Castle, the Slovenian Philharmonic, and the majestic Renaissance palace, the seat of the University of Ljubljana. In our new environment, we were able to and continue to realize our vision on a larger scale, and today, we present to our visitors the beauty of the world of plants, which we live and advocate for every day.
Our fresh flowers and plants are carefully chosen solely from trusted Slovenian and international cultivators, and diligently cared for daily to maintain their quality. Our selection includes traditional and novel, rarer varieties that ignite our imagination and curiosity.
